Hi, I found you on the state's TEFA vendor list. Is this class set up in your Odyssey marketplace listing for my child's grade, and what is it called there so I can find it? Who is the lead teacher?

  1. Log in to Odyssey, open your child's Wallet and tap Shop Marketplace.
  2. Search the name above, or browse the category.
  3. Open the offering and read the price, the return and cancellation policy, and any restriction notice.
  4. Add it to your cart, pick your child, and check out.

Before you check out: Odyssey doesn't cancel orders once they're placed, for products or services. Send the message above and get your answers first.

After you order
  • The vendor accepts the order, then emails you within two business days to set up the service. Check your spam folder.
  • An order with no status is still waiting for the vendor to accept it.
  • No email after a few business days? Odyssey says to write to Marketplace@withodyssey.com.
Can't find them in the marketplace?

The state approves the vendor, and each offering is listed in the marketplace separately. An offering drops out of the marketplace when it's out of stock, and a vendor can hide one. Ask the vendor what it's called there and whether it's live (the message above asks).

Check before you pay

Classes and online courses count as tuition and fees for an educational course or program. A teaching service needs a qualified lead educator, the same rule as tutoring.

  • Pay through Odyssey, not the vendor directly. TEFA funds are spent inside the Odyssey marketplace. If you pay a vendor yourself, TEFA can't pay you back.
  • You can't pay yourself or a relative. The rules bar paying a parent or a close relative as the vendor, even if they teach.
  • Orders can't be cancelled. Odyssey has a no-cancellation policy for products and services. Get your answers before you order.
